History was made back in August 2022 when the Wirral hosted its first ever Pride Event ‘ New Brighton Pride ‘. The event, founded by Jamie Carter, exceeded all expectations at the launch in 2022 and the annual event has continued to grow every year since.

2025 will be the fourth year and with our growth plans for the future, we are rebranding from New Brighton Pride to Wirral Pride. The brand change will enable us to grow and seek further opportunities for our community, for the future whist never forgetting the very roots that made us what we are today!

New Brighton continues to, at present, be the host town for the event whist representing The Wirral community as a whole.

We have some exciting plans for the future years ahead as Wirral Pride.
